Do You Actually Need Four?
This is the most expensive plan we sell, so it's worth being honest about who it's for. Work through these before ordering.
Count your busiest hour
Not the average — the peak. Usually Sunday afternoon in the NFL season, or a weeknight around 8pm. How many people want different things at that moment?
Shared screens count once
Two people on the sofa watching the same game is one stream, not two. This is where most people overestimate what they need.
Don't forget mobile
Someone watching from the car, the gym or a hotel needs their own slot. This is the stream people most often forget to count.
Paused still counts
A device left paused holds its slot until the app is properly closed. In a four-person house that catches people out.
Check your broadband
Four 4K streams want ~100 Mbps of headroom. If your line is 50 Mbps, a fourth stream won't help — fix the connection first.

This is our largest plan, and the one we most often talk people out of. Not because it isn't good — the per-device rate is the best we offer — but because a lot of households buy four streams and only ever use three.
The households that genuinely need four
- Families of five or more where the kids have their own screens and watch separately
- Shared houses — roommates with genuinely different viewing habits and schedules
- Multi-generation homes where grandparents watch news, parents watch sport, and kids watch everything else
- Homes with a regular away-viewer — someone who travels or commutes and streams while three screens run at home

Why the per-device rate is the lowest
At $3.96 per device per month this beats every other plan — $4.06 on the 3-device, $4.17 on the 2-device, $5.00 on a single yearly plan. Against four separate 12-month subscriptions at $239.96, this saves $49.97, the largest bundle saving we offer.
But cheapest per device only matters if all four devices get used. Four streams at $3.96 costs $189.99; three streams at $4.06 costs $145.99. Paying $44 more for capacity that sits idle isn't a saving — it's a worse deal wearing a better rate.
Your broadband is the real question
This is where four-stream households run into trouble, and it has nothing to do with us. Each stream is delivered independently at full quality, so four devices each get the same 4K feed a single device would.
That means roughly 100 Mbps of headroom for four simultaneous 4K streams, on top of everything else in the house — someone gaming, phones syncing, a work laptop on a call. Below about 150 Mbps total, plan to run some streams in HD.
Wi-Fi matters more than the number on your bill. Four devices scattered across a house, several on 2.4GHz, will buffer on a gigabit line. Wire the main TV with Ethernet, keep everything else on 5GHz, and consider a mesh system if you're covering more than one floor. Fixing Wi-Fi solves more four-stream problems than upgrading broadband does.
Priority servers, and when you'd notice
